Caring for your hand-poured candle

  • before each use, trim the wick to 0.5mm
  • ensure the wick is upright, above the wax and central before lighting
  • ensure the candle is placed on a flat surface
  • do not allow the flame to touch the glass
  • ensure your candle reaches a full-melt-pool before extinguishing – this will prevent the   candle tunnelling
  • to extinguish, simply replace the lid
  • never leave a burning candle unattended
  • do not burn for more than 4 hours
  • keep away from pets and children

Marc, originally from Portstewart on the North Coast of Ireland, now lives in the heart of Co. Down.
