Hand thrown stoneware ceramic large mug.
Each mug is hand thrown by Alison on her potters wheel in her studio in County Down. Inspired by the beautiful Northern Irish coastal scenery.
Please note that all Alison’s products are made by hand and therefore there will be uniqueness and variations in the finish of each product from the original photograph, makers marks maybe present.

After graduating with a degree in Glass and Ceramics, Alison worked as a production potter for 25 years. She loves the qualities of clay, the way there is no resistance with it, that there is no need for tools to work it, and that she has direct expression from hand to clay.
Alison finds inspiration in the garden and in the beautiful landscapes of County Down.
